Today,
I made a commitment,
as God's children
to love and trust each other,
to show God's grace in one another,
to do His works, to reflect His glory
and above it all, to love and trust God all the more,
putting Him first in our lives.
No fanciful actions, no sweet but empty words,
nothing but a simple prayer to begin the journey.
I know that God was there
holding onto my hand and his hand.
And I know He will be there always,
to guide our way.
